{6} The Butterflies are Back

And Not a Moment Too Soon

Hello Genius,

It's just been in the last week that I've seen the butterflies return to my garden. My apple tree is blooming for the first time since we planted it four years ago. Since its companion tree didn't make it, the pollinating must be coming from a neighboring property.

I am thankful for the bees and butterflies that carry the fruitfulness of life.

It feels poignant, this re-emergence of butterflies. Of course, it's Spring and the time is indeed the right time. But the synchronicity isn't lost on me that the Butterfly Map I created to help you see Your Genius Imprint is landing at the same time.

Here's something I recently discovered about the butterfly - and it's significant for the imprint of Genius - their wings naturally trace an infinity loop as they move.

Last week I shared an anthology of podcast episodes you might want to visit if you haven't already. They map the origin of Every Day Genius in a way I had been unable to express before. (See the Shape of Flight link below by scrolling to the Podcast section.)

Incidentally, it's the episode [168] that carries the title The Shape of Flight that goes into the infinity loop of the butterfly wings.

You're probably feeling it too. The whole internet thing, specifically the "social" media. It's a great tool, but every time we turn around, our opportunities to connect meaningfully are hijacked by algorithms. It is no longer what we signed up for in many respects.
