EDG Coaching Undergoes Brand Redesign
Now EDGx365 !
EDG Coaching is now EDGx365
With updated messaging and re-designed brand content for improved consistency across market channels.
What is EDGx365?
It bears repeating. EDGx365 is...
The EDG in EDG Coaching stands for Every Day Genius. That EDG combined with x365 is a reminder that our days make up our lives. Our daily habits and practices determine the quality of our weeks, months, years, and ultimately this one life we live.
One of the core principles of EDGx365 is that everyone is or has Genius in them. Defined as a tutelary or guiding spirit, it was typically a neutral term and could be and often is used in both constructive and destructive ways.
EDGx365 is whole-person focused and looks to acknowledge, without judgment both aspects of Genius while helping individuals choose better for themselves, knowing that how they live impacts their own life and the lives of those around them.
Color and Logo
On Target: X Marks the Spot

From an orange-y mountain sunset to a sleek, teal-colored X.
The image design integrates a feeling of forward movement and progress - through success-oriented practices and habits - with an arrow > that ultimately joins with an <, as in X marks the spot, or the achievement of a goal.
The blue flames echo what she calls the Blue Flame - a calling or sense of Life Purpose that is a product of Genius on Fire.
Why teal? It just felt right. Now Michele Jennae wears clothing from a largely teal and aqua, black and white wardrobe.
This wasn't just a purge. There was a bigger point.
π I got rid of everything that didn't speak to me or speak for me.
π©΅ I chose the colors that represent how I want to show up in the world.
π I created a sense of order for easy access and saving time.
Yes I got rid of what wasn't working so that I could focus on what is working. I didn't just make space for my clothing. I also made space for ME.
Not only am I finding it easier to get dressed for business every single day, even when working from home, I find that I do the hard thing of keeping my clothes put away. ( The struggle with laundry was real π€£)
π₯ Whether it's wardrobe items or habits, we must continually assess and address what moves us forward.
βοΈWhere have you reorganized lately for similar purposes?
βοΈOr what do you need to reorganize to create time and space for YOU?

The "Every Day"of Every Day Genius
In the new tagline, EDG is teased out (Every Day Genius) from its mnemonic acronym to emphasize and compliment the everyday sentiment of the "x365."
Transformation Happens at the EDG! (Which you'll still see from time to time. π)
to...
Every Day Genius isn't about IQ.
Every Day Genius is about YOU! π«΅
Brand Focus
More than Coaching
Michele Jennae does more than coaching. While she loves working with individuals and groups in coaching settings, she also facilitates workshops, functions as an Emcee, and delivers keynote talks and informative/inspirational lectures.
She also works locally in her community in Batesville, Arkansas and surrounding areas, as well as online.
She is also a writer, working on at least one book (likely a few more π), and in her spare time, an artist, singer-songwriter and very poor guitar player. Also, wife and dog-mom. Her adult children live in Missouri and California.
Service Expansion

Tightening the Focus
Not quite laser but much closer
I am a natural ideaphoric. Ideas are like glitter to me, like nuts to a squirrel. Ideas literally light me up and I can tend to flit from one spark to another with abandon.
All in all, I have to admit I am proud of myself for this rebrand. As a solo-preneur, I do most everything myself, and admittedly I can and do have blind spots. I can definitely fall in love with my darlings, and sometimes the best creative act with our darlings is to kill them.
In the craft of writing, "kill your darlings" refers to the practice of eliminating words, sentences, characters, or storylines that a writer is particularly attached to but that do not serve the overall narrative. It emphasizes the importance of prioritizing the story over personal attachment to specific passages, even if they are well-crafted or enjoyable to the writer.
The advice, while difficult to follow, is applicable to any art or craft.
Nobody ever said Genius is perfect. Certainly not me!
What I can say is that my brand re-design has given me renewed focus and an energy boost. Things are looking up!
