Sunday: [129] Your Magnum Opus and WORK with Michele Jennae
We've been conditioned to think that WORK is a four-letter word, a curse, a blight on an otherwise lovely life. And for many of us, the job, where we go to work, does seem to represent this as reality. But work is more than that. Today I invite you to expand your idea of work for a more fulfilling life.
Monday: [130] Nurturing the Wound into Blue Flame with Lisa Tighe
Lisa joins us again, talking about her childhood wound, which she reiterates wasn't reality as much as it was her interpretation of it, eventually led her to her Blue Flame of purpose, working with NLP and Energy Healing. Nurturing, something she felt she was lacking, has become one of her signature areas of focus.
Tuesday: [131] Turning Around Our Power with Lisa Tighe
We're always exercising our power, but according to Lisa Tighe we have to learn how to turn it around and make it useful instead of destructive. We are meaning makers, but that meaning doesn't always serve us in adulthood as it might have in childhood.
Wednesday: [132] The Deep Roots of Work with Michele Jennae
In today's episode I dig into the roots of the word "work" and some affiliate words like "opus," "travail," and "labor." While work has become a four-letter word, I want to open up the possibility that meaningful work is what we were made for.
Thursday: [133] A Bottle of Wine Births a Business with Lisa Tighe
Lisa Tighe never set out to start a business. Merely interested in NLP for what it could do for her, she found herself at a sudden crossroads when other NLP course attendees encouraged her to stake her claim in the business world over a couple of bottles of wine. With only a domain name and a burning desire to help people, she has made it happen one step at a time.
Friday: [134] Watch Me! with Lisa Tighe
In yesterday's episode, Lisa tells us that she started her business over a couple of bottles of wine and an encouraging conversation. With little more than a burning interest in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a brand-new web domain, Lisa says, "Watch me!" with a bit of a challenge more to herself than to the world at large.
Saturday: [135] Stolen Time and Unexpressed Potential with Michele Jennae
Did you know that according to the Talmud, the Jewish book of law, that stealing time is considered a sin? What and who is stealing your time and might you consider pre-empting that offense? What about your potential? What is getting in the way of that expression? I explore these questions on today's episode.
