Vocation
There is a fire in you that has been burning since before you knew what to call it.
You have felt it. In the work you do when no one is watching. In the thing you keep returning to even when it makes no practical sense. In the moment someone receives what you made and something in you recognizes — yes. That. That is what it was for.
Vocation is not a career. It is not a job title or a niche or a five-year plan. It is the place where what burns in you becomes useful to the world. Where the fire that is entirely, irreducibly yours — your Blue Flame — meets the people who need exactly its light.
The Japanese call it ikigai. The place where what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what sustains you all converge. Not a compromise between them. A crossing point.
Most people live on one side of that crossing or the other. Burning privately, producing work that never quite reaches anyone. Or performing publicly, giving the world a version of the fire that has been carefully managed down to something acceptable, something safe, something that no longer resembles the original flame.
Neither is Vocation.
Vocation is the tended fire. Not wild. Not extinguished. Burning at full expression — fed, directed, offered. The Inner Fire that refuses to apologize for its heat, meeting the Outer Reward that confirms the light is landing somewhere.
You were not born to choose between the fire and the world. You were born to bring them together.
That is your calling. And it has been waiting for you to stop dividing yourself in two.
An exploratory session is one conversation. We find where your fire is burning and what it needs to reach the world. That's it. That's everything.
