What Is This?

Every Day Genius is a simple idea with a long history.

You were born with a genius — not a talent ranking, not an IQ score, but an attendant spirit. A way of seeing and moving through the world that is entirely yours. The Romans knew this. They called it your genius. They believed it accompanied you from birth.

Then life happened. School happened. Other people’s models of success happened. And slowly, the genius got quiet.

The framework I built to wake it back up is called the EDG Butterfly Map. A figure eight. Two states in continuous motion — one where your Genius is grounded, gathering, building pressure beneath the surface. One where it’s in flight, expressed, alive, doing the thing it was always meant to do. The map doesn’t ask you to pick a side. It asks you to know where you are in the motion — and to trust that the pattern itself is working, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

That’s the territory we’re moving through together here.

Flash of Genius exists to illuminate it — one idea at a time. Not a ten-step program. Not a personality test that boxes you in. Something simpler — a flash of recognition that says: that’s me. I’ve always been that.

That’s what a flash does. It doesn’t illuminate everything. It illuminates the thing that matters right now. And then it’s done. Thirty seconds. Maybe two minutes. In and out.
